• All EOS websites are SSL enabled with certificates that never expire. SSL is now the standard security expectation on the web. The SSL process encrypts information between parties (like a website and its users) so that only the intended recipients can read it. It’s an important security feature, as well as an important psychological cue for users’ comfort: All SSL-enabled sites have the “https” prefix and display a padded lock.
• Most third-party hosts charge more for an SSL certificate and leave their sites unguarded. In the event that your site is breached by a bot or a hacker, third-party hosts will often charge you to fix your site (if they fix it at all).
